We provide Portland area restaurants and wine shops with high quality, hand-crafted wines from select Oregon wineries!
Simply put, our winery is perched in a prime and top-secret location, somwhere in the foothills of the Willamette Valley, Oregon. The building itself is several hundred square feet in size and is geared for limited production. We use gravity flow and gentle nitrogen pressure, only when we deem it necessary to move wine around. We craft our wines using only the most rudimentary of technologies; many wineries rely on things like space, money, space, machinery, money, and space. We skimp on all of that. Instead, we prefer to stick with traditional methods, minimizing intervention and maximizing quality, while throwing in a good dose of strong and friendly back labor, Northwest smoked salmon, and Johnny Cash tunes for support.
What was once a serious hobby evolved to a love and passion for fine wine. Pinot Noir was planted at our home in 1990. The 1995 vintage was the first release to the consumer as Fisher Family Cellars. ADEA (an acronym for members of the Fisher family—Ann, Dean, Erica and Adam) first labeled the 1998 vintage. With the 1995 through 1998 vintages produced at the Medici winery, the 1999 through 2001 was produced at the Lemelson winery.
We are dedicated to the exclusive production of small quantities of premium estate bottled Pinot Noir. The vineyard, planted in 1972 and 1979, lies in the curve of the Chehelam Mountains and has spectacular sweeping views of Mt. Hood and the High Cascades.
Erin Glenn’s first estate vineyards of Syrah & Gewürztraminer were planted in the spring of 2002 and the winery’s maiden production happened the following year, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Gris as the offerings. Later came the birth of “Tantrum Red” ~ a fun red blend, and what has become Erin Glenn’s signature in the Columbia Gorge. Tantrum is a blend of locally grown fruit ~ Pinot Noir, Merlot & Barbera.
HillCrest is Oregon's oldest estate winery and home to many of the states first wine grapes, including Pinot Noir! Today we honor our rich legacy of innovation with our patented concrete red wine fermentors and the Umpqua Valley’s most sustainable vineyard practices. Our historic family estate is the fruit of many generations experience combined with our own family’s experience working in vineyards and wineries in Europe and S. America, as well as teaching wine education courses in 17 countries. It is our passion to produce wines that express elegance, structure, age-ability and a reflection of the place in which they are grown. From Oregon’s oldest naturally farmed vineyards, we handcraft all of our wines together as a family. Whether it comes to planting new vines, bottling or working in the tasting room, only our family’s hands have touched these wines . . . or, as we like to say, "family made not family managed!" "Great wines without the ego!"
The winery produces Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Dry Rose of Gamay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Dry Riesling. We also produce a Columbia Valley flight of wines that include Chardonnay, Viognier, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and bordeaux style blends.
Pomum wines are produced in extremely limited quantities due to our careful attention to detail and steadfast focus on quality. We feel that these truly handcrafted wines are something special! We hope you agree.
We carefully craft all of our wines to emphasize balance, fruit character and the vineyard. At Viento, we practice the art of winemaking with respect for traditions and my personal style. The results are wines of balance, softness and wonderful flavors.
Zerba Cellars is a family-owned, estate winery located in the heart of the Walla Walla Valley. We own vineyards in three of the appellation’s most exciting viticultural zones. Winesap Vineyard is located in the heart of a rocky floodplain on the Walla Walla River. Winesap and neighboring vineyards in “the rocks” have produced some of the region’s most exciting wines of recent years. Cockburn’s Vineyard sits high in the Southeast corner of the valley, sandwiched between the famed Seven Hills and Les Collines vineyards. It is the most moderate vineyard in the appellation, providing protection from summer heat spikes as well as frost and winter freezes. Dad’s Vineyard is loacted in the famed Touchet Beds, a region that straddles the Oregon-Washington state line and is home to some of the Walla Walla Valley’s oldest, most esteemed wineries and vineyards.
